Movie Review: It's love at first sight for Karthik. Actually, he sees a white pigeon first! Confused? Well this is how the scene pans out. Nidhi is chasing a pigeon that is wounded by a firecracker. The pigeon settles atop a leafless tree by a lake. Karthik who is dancing on an elevated wooden platform, jumps in to lend a helping hand to the girl, and then lightening strikes. Tada! You know it's love, at least Karthik is convinced. That's the sort of magic that the director tries to create with Tuneega Tunega. Perhaps that's why the pigeon keeps making appearances all through the film playing cupid. Karthik soon discovers to his surprise that Nidhi is the daughter of his father's (Prabhu) best friend (Nagababu) and that he was pretty rude to her the last time they met. So he masquerades as Balaji to win her affections. A few scenes of tomfoolery and a song shot in moonlight later, their love is sealed. But there are problems aplenty. Nidhi's father (Nagababu) is a millionaire. He is hosting a special three day party to celebrate his father's "Sahasra purna chandrodayam" (A celebration of a person's 1000th full moon sighting during his life). Nagababu hires the services of his best friend (Prabhu) who is the head of the catering firm which is in-charge of the hospitality. Neetu, a haughty cousin of Nidhi connives to drive a wedge between the lovers and Nidhi gets engaged to her cousin. Things get pretty dramatic in the second half. Sumanth and Rhea look cute together but their onscreen chemistry leaves a lot to be desired. As far as emoting goes, the lead pair still has some way to go but for a first outing they do a decent job. The two have author backed roles but the insipid writing doesn't help matters either. The biggest stumbling block however is the romance, there isn't much honestly. There just aren't enough of those "young love moments"! The filmmaker tried to create a happy aura around the film and succeeds, thanks largely to the peppy background score. But the songs don't quite have the same effect. The title track is easily the best but the rest are just about average. To make matters worse the film just doesn't come together visually. It lacks the freshness and feel of a new film. The lack of novelty across the board proves to be it's undoing.

Synopsis: As kids, Karthik Ramaswamy (Sumanth) and Nidhi (Rhea) hated each other. But when they meet each other by accident years later as grown ups, they fall in love. As fate would have it, they get tricked into falling out and Nidhi gets engaged to her cousin. Their feelings for each other however, refuse to die down.

Overall Review : Below average movie with no excitement.
